Found there to be a lovely lively energy in this quaint village pub. Good hearty meals and tea and breakfast. If the locals like it, it must be a good sign. Room was perfect for me on my own - enough space for my things and sweet in its design. Clean, comfy bed and linen. Friendly service from all the team. Access to accommodation was good, similarly parking too. The Blossom restaurant with bar was spacious with very attractive, comfortable interior and terrace seating that had distant lake views. The key box system seems a little odd at first, but is in fact very convenient and easy to use. The proximity to the church - and particularly the bell chimes every quarter - are fine if you want that traditional, country feel. Perhaps less so if you're a light sleeper.
