Located in Uppingham, 19 miles from Leicester Train Station, The Lake Isle Restaurant with rooms has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

The room was absolutely spectacular, well stocked with teas and coffees and toiletries, the bathroom was so impressively nice, so much larger than I anticipated! The staff was absolutely the kindest, most helpful and attentive hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. The location was lovely and the restaurant delicious. I have absolutely no complaints :)

Beautifully designed and furnished cottage in the perfect location. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, pubs and a big Tesco. We came to Oakham for a wedding and it had everything we needed to get ready. Jacob was communicative and accommodating. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Breakfast was lovely, the location is very good too. The only criticism is that the table for the tea and coffee was badly designed so it was difficult to use.

Had a wonderful stay thank you. Really enjoyed the location, the outlook. Arrived during a beautiful Rutland sunset! Found there to be a lovely lively energy in this quaint village pub. Good hearty meals and tea and breakfast. If the locals like it, it must be a good sign. Room was perfect for me on my own - enough space for my things and sweet in its design. Clean, comfy bed and linen. Friendly service from all the team. Would recommend.

The location exceeded expectations and was stunning. The interiors were thoughtfully and superbly designed. Access to accommodation was good, similarly parking too. The Blossom restaurant with bar was spacious with very attractive, comfortable interior and terrace seating that had distant lake views. The atmosphere there was very pleasant indeed and great service. The breakfast was excellent and generous with a variety of fresh fruit.

No breakfast, but this is OK and is reflected in the price. The key box system seems a little odd at first, but is in fact very convenient and easy to use. The proximity to the church - and particularly the bell chimes every quarter - are fine if you want that traditional, country feel. Perhaps less so if you're a light sleeper. The usual problems with operating the shower tap, but nowadays this is only to be expected and is the fault of the interior designer and manufacturer, not the hotel
