The Elephant Hotel is located in the charming village of Pangbourne, beside the River Thames. Minutes from the M4, it is convenient for Reading, Newbury and Oxford.

Near the Thames path. Near restaurants and shops. Just on a main road. It was clean and nice. But the prices was just in line with that.

Within Forbury Gardens, this luxury 5-star hotel offers a fine dining restaurant and a cocktail bar. Reading Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.

Great hotel, highly recommended. Entrance needs a ramp for luggage and probably more lights on the hotel itself as you can see much of it at night. There is only one elevator which has two doors. One for the guests to the rooms and the other to the kitchen and service areas. Always smells like food. Suggest to add a refresher to kill the food smell.

Loved how comfortable and at home we were able to feel immediately. Really thoughtfully put together to give a personal feel whilst remaining clean, stylish and practical. Had everything we could have wanted and Lucinda was really helpful with additional questions and needs. I've lived in Italy for 3 years now and this visit made me fall back in love with England with help from this lovely place! Would gladly return and recommend highly if looking for somewhere to stay in the area.
