Lovely reception in the pub. Felt very welcome . Rooms modernised perfectly from an older building . Pub food and service excellent.
This hotel is situated within the heart of the beautiful Lake District, overlooked by the impressive fells and mountains. It offers stylish, modern rooms and an all-day coffee shop.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Ideal location with good access from the M6. We stayed as part of a walking holiday overnight.
The pub itself was much like a local and the food was good pub food.
The downside was the room which didn't quite live up to expectation! It was clean however the bathroom was more of a large cupboard....the Web designer and photographer did an exceptional job!
Would we stay again....probably if necessarily but would look for an alternative first.
Excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk to restaurants and pubs. Hosts Shaun & Tracey friendly and helpful. Property felt more like a small boutique hotel than a B&B. Interior design and furnishings fantastic. Attention to detail everywhere. Super comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend and would return without hesitation.
Foundry34 is a a lovely boutique hotel with a nice restaurant on the ground floor. I had the flatiron steak which was excellent. Breakfast was also well presented.
Lovely spacious room, tastefully designed and in a great property with everything to hand you could need. Steve was an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and onward journey easy. We had a perfect stay and would definitely stay with Steve again.
