In a beautiful setting on the edge of the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, in the pretty market town of Helmsley, this elegant hotel boasts superb dining options, full spa facilities, and free Wi-Fi.

From the outside the hotel looks like a row of cottages you don't realise what is behind that is beautiful. The breakfast choice was very good.

I only met one of the owners who was very friendly and welcoming. The food was of a high standard. Unlike many budget hotels I have stayed in, the view from my bedroom window was beautiful, overlooking the lovely garden and a field with the owner's horse grazing in it.
