The Helaina is a 5-minute walk from Scarborough’s beaches, harbor and town center.

Excellent well run hotel. Very clean and the breakfasts are fantastic. The room was on the small side, but given buildings of this style, we expected that. Nice functional bathroom, with quality fittings and proper well installed tiles (the plastic cladding you often see is awful) Nice to also not see any mould anywhere in the shower area (bleach spray being used I reckon) It's amazing how many hotels don't have particularly clean bathrooms. All the staff were friendly and genuinely sincere and warm. Shout out to the specialist cleaning assistant. She was lovely and obviously is doing a tremendous job as stated. You can always pick up via the staff, that any organisation is well run from the top down, by how happy they are. The Helaina ticked all the boxes.

Stylish and contemporary, these 5-star luxury apartments have a magnificent location on Scarborough’s North Bay, on Yorkshire's rugged and beautiful East Coast.

The location is superb. The full moon night made for some exquisite views. The flats are clean and comfortable. They offer great balcony views. The staff are cheerful and look after well. Gave us a good welcome.

Just 1.1 miles from The Spa Scarborough and a 17-minute walk from Scarborough Castle, The Kensington features accommodations in Scarborough, with a garden.

We were made very welcome from the moment of arrival, Debbie served us tea and home made cake and Jason introduced himself, both made it clear they were there to help with any problems/questions. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and more cake in the room for us along with a large selection of tea/coffee, also fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge We stayed four nights, there was a notice in the shower room asking guests to reuse towels, which we did, they were replaced after two uses without being asked, which was nice. The breakfasts were excellent, and a selection that is sure to suit anyone! Perfect poached eggs every day 👍 A parking pass was provided which meant we didn’t have to fear the parking wardens. The location is very good, a short walk to a couple of parks and North Bay.

I only met one of the owners who was very friendly and welcoming. The food was of a high standard. Unlike many budget hotels I have stayed in, the view from my bedroom window was beautiful, overlooking the lovely garden and a field with the owner's horse grazing in it.
