The food and staff were really great. The room had everything, and what a view! (over the practice holes at the front). What a wonderful breakfast. Having specific pool times for the children was really excellent. During a wander in the woods we saw the resident deer, and what a sight!

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Shefford Woodlands, The Pheasant Inn boasts a traditional restaurant and a cosy bar with an open fire.

Everything was good quality. The beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. We arrived early and were even able to access our rooms immediately on arrival which was much appreciated. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Dear The Fleece Team, Good afternoon! I recently had the pleasure of staying at your lovely hotel, and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my time there. Everything was wonderful ! I was particularly impressed by your porridge — it was truly the best I’ve ever had. I was wondering if you might be willing to share the recipe? I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you once again for your warm hospitality. Warm regards, Lidiya

Beautifully presented, quaint boutique hotel set amongst lush gardens and river. Excellent outdoor courtyard suitable for both rain and shine. Excellent customer service with the staff helping me both packing and unpacking our luggage. Our warmest of welcome by the lovely Pheobe and overview of all the facilities. 5 star from start to finish. Thank you!

Gorgeous Hotel. Great value for what we paid it felt really luxury. We had a very clean double room it was heaven! Everything about the room was perfect, nice and quiet and a very comfy big bed. The option for room service is very convenient though we didn't use it. Reception staff were helpful. The bar and dining was really nice, the gentleman behind the bar with a short beard was very professional. We would stay here again, but we wouldn't go to the restaurant downstairs here again, however the buffet breakfast was lovely.
