The welcome was superb, including the chef staying on to make a sandwich at 10pm when I arrived. Room was small but very stylish, classy and extremely comfortable.

Loved the beautiful and peaceful location, gardens and a stream. The building is fascinating and stylishly decorated. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Lovely dining experience in the conservatory. All the staff we met were professional and friendly and made us feel at home.

Alison was really helpful from initial booking until we left. She gave us great directions, both to get to cottage, and to walk to local village along lovely country roads and canal towpath. Cottage is set in a beautifully tended garden with stunning views. It was immaculate inside. Also very characterful with nice additional touches. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice on the menu. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property steeped in history. If I hadn't have been travelling for work I would have spent more time exploring. The owner who greeted us was a lovely fellow - very helpful during our stay and even sorted us out with a delicious continental breakfast, earlier than normal, to accommodate for our busy working schedule. I did have a bit of a problem in my room with hot water, but it was sorted immediately and it in no way gave me any bad feelings towards the place. Thanks so much, hopefully see you again soon.

I have been visiting Fisherman’s Cot since I was a child, so it’s lovely to be able to bring my own family to stay when we have events to attend in the area. Stunning location, wonderful staff & delicious food.

A lovely traditional farm with a purposely designed b&b area with just 2 nice size rooms which share an entrance into a handy lobby and breakfast room, all separate from the owners. A yummy cooked breakfast with the farms own eggs plus lots of extras available made by the welcoming hosts. Comfy beds and lovely peaceful surroundings. Near to Tiverton but beautifully rural.
