Rich in original character and historic charm, this 500-year-old boutique-style coaching inn offering a cosy pub with real ales, wines and an open log fire is situated on the edge of the Thetford...

We arrived quite late but the duty manager was absolutely outstanding. Very helpful, friendly and yet professional. Really went out of his way to explain everything to us. We actually met the chef as well who was also really nice, friendly and welcoming.

Such a peaceful and tranquil setting and certainly the lil luxury touches made it so much better..Not many places give you fresh milk/apple juice and coffee.Even a small decanter of slow gin was a perfect nite cap.Breakfast was delicious with a lovely view of swans with their young on the stream..Will certainly be returningxxx

Gorgeous little studio apartment above the owner's garage with lovely views over the fields - we particularly enjoyed watching the pigs in the fields being fed whilst we ate our own breakfast! Easy access using a code to pick up the keys, the apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We liked that some basics for breakfast had been left, and tea and coffee facilities. Great shower pressure in a very nice modern bathroom (the whole place is very new!).

Handy location, being 2 minutes from the main road, and lovely traditional mill design with a tranquil terrace overlooking a pond. Great also for jogging away from traffics on some peaceful trails.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights mid week,it’s a beautiful hotel, lovely grounds.food was amazing and staff so friendly.our room was a little warm could’ve benefited from a small window to open or some form of ventilation.however the floor to ceiling bifold doors gave us stunning views of the garden. Would definitely stay here again,we loved it.

what a beautiful quaint boutique hotel, beautiful solo rooms with an amazing view of a meadow. I was given a cabin which had everything and more needed with Espa toiletries. Food wise there is a tasting menu if you want to feel spoilt, or a Teepee restaurant with an excellent choice of food. I went for the halloumi with beetroot delicious!
