The rooms were furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host was very accommodating and attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious, and the location and private gated community all made the trip really enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B for future guests.

Set in South Hayling, within 1.4 km of Sword Sands Beach and 15 km of Port Solent, Waratah Lodge offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

I was greeted by Linda upon my arrival, her calm, welcoming and friendly nature allowed me to relax as soon as I entered her home. Linda took the time to chat with me and offered me a cup of tea. I stayed in the pink room, it was so peaceful and relaxing, overlooking the gorgeous garden. I had the best night sleep and woke surrounded by a pink light from the light shining through the curtains. I felt completely rested. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I left feeling recharged. It was a special treat to stay in this lovely with very sweet hosts. Thank you! I look forward to staying with you again.

The room was absolutely stunning and faced out onto the beautiful gardens and the fields full of sheep. The college is stunning with all the tapestries and artifacts. The grounds are well worth exploring. A lovely cafe too with friendly staff everywhere. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful house and location. We stayed in the vicarage just up from the main house, not so grandiose but the room was lovely and spacious with comfortable beds and ensuite facilities. Lovely friendly reception staff. And dont forget to have a wander around the gorgeous grounds ablaze with Alliums and daisies! They run many courses here, I might even return for a creative writing short course!

Breakfast was excellent - great selection, super fast service and plenty of it. The grounds here are stunning, it's a beautiful place to visit and lovely to stay the night. It's a very convenient stopping off point whilst cycling the South Downs way, and handy for some local pubs.

Absolutely stunning location and charming period rooms. We stayed in the Vicarage, which is separate from the main building, and feels nice and private but still has lovely views.
