Could not fault this little gem I’m well traveled and this place gets too marks very very cosy place and exceptionally clean great hosts and great freshly cooked breakfast il be back in a few weeks 👍

This 150-year-old country house guest accommodation is in quiet gardens, 700 metres from Windermere town centre. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking and a lounge/bar.

The service is thoughtful, with attentive details. The staff is very friendly, and the room is beautifully decorated. There is a bus stop at the entrance and a shortcut to the lake. This hotel is definitely worth a try.

In the beautiful Lake District, just a short walk from Windermere, this luxury bed and breakfast has beautifully appointed rooms, all with a modern, original bathroom and free Wi-Fi.

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional and the manageress was knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. Disliked: The room was far too small (& it wasn’t the smallest option), the bed was two single pushed together so we often woke up having fallen into the gap, the storage options were poor (no shower shelf, for example), and it was overpriced.

Beautiful surroundings and fabulous decor. A very comfortable bed! Facilities included an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, kettle, bottle of water and a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Great selection of food and staff were professional and friendly. Easy access to shops, restaurants, walks to the lakes, buses, train station and tourist information.

Superb location, very clean room, quiet with pretty view to the garden. Easy check in and out. Our host was attentive and responsive. All perfect! Will return in the future!

    Beautiful building well maintained and comfortable. Stylish interior design with everything you need from iron to microwave, found the ironing board under the bed. The gardens are amazing, the added bonus of the french doors on our room meant we could go straight outside without going back through the hotel. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. We will be back.

    This apartment is fabulous. I stayed here for one night to celebrate my 21st birthday and couldn’t recommend it more. A stunning property that has been designed so beautifully and in a perfect location within Windermere Village. The extras were such a lovely surprise, underfloor heating as well as smart technology with the lighting and speaker system, really make the experience very special. We will definitely be coming back!

    The park location was stunning! our view were just perfect! the layout of the lodge was lovely and loved the modern interior design! we was thrilled with how peaceful and calm the site appeared to be. We was extremely pleased throughout our stay, it was cosy, warming and met most of our needs! Perfect spot as it is in between two beautiful local towns (Windermere/Ambleside)
