My wife particularly appreciated the care given with her food requests.
The breakfast and evening meal were both excellent.

Breakfast service poor - took a long time to arrive. Arrived separately so I had finished by time other breakfast arrived.
Fruit salad was supposed to be pomegranate, passion fruit, melon and pineapple- I just got melon and pineapple!
Had to ask for toilet to be cleaned on arrival as a few hairs on toilet seat 🤨

Quirky! Different from the run of the mill hotel. Very unique and pleasant experience in Oxford.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Lovely central Witney location on the green and within walking distance to everything you could need. Gorgeous character building with plenty of space, and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout with great quality furnishings. Garden was only mildly overlooked and had some great old features. Parking was on the street but was free and could easily find somewhere to park that was convenient enough.
Everything was just right, gorgeous immaculate room, delicious breakfast, lovely friendly and helpful host. Even had use of a cute bistro set in her gorgeous garden. Location was perfect for us too. Would definitely recommend, infact already have, and would stay again.
I like the design of the building overall it was a nice shape and the front looked quite nice. The pool (the main reason we booked) was lovely, a nice size
and temperature.
- Really friendly staff
- Great food - we had dinner in the pub as well as breakfast and it was all delicious! Lots of gluten-free options/catering for dietary requirements as well which was hugely appreciated. The breakfast especially was so good considering it was included in the room rate.
- The room was spotless, comfortable and nicely designed - we slept really well
- The noise was well controlled, obviously pubs are a lively environment but we weren’t disturbed.
- All in all fantastic value for money and a lovely stay!
