The Queen at Chester - Beautifully connected – Since 1860 With new jewels in our crown following a sparkling new £5millon refurbishment to public areas, Queen bedrooms and installed air conditioning.

Hotel was really lovely and everything seemed really clean and tidy. Room was a good size, we liked that the bathroom had the shower/bath option and beds were so comfortable - We had stayed in a different hotel elsewhere in England the night before and had got sore backs there but here with you our backs' were not sore at all when we woke up! The room itself was also really quiet which helped us get a good nights sleep! We did not have any food or drink in the hotel so can't comment on them. We would definitely choose to stay here again in future.

In the heart of Chester, minutes from the River Dee, Oddfellows features a stylish bar and a modern restaurant, along with boutique-style rooms. There is free Wi-Fi throughout.

I liked the location as we could have two apartments for our family next to each other. It’s just off one if the main streets in Chester. It was decently sized and the towels were perfect to me. (Thirsty cotton with a hint of scratch to soak up the water).

Doubletree by Hilton Chester is set in an 18th-century manor house with 12 acres of landscaped gardens. The hotel is just outside Chester, a 2-minute drive from the M53 motorway.

The Staff, Zoe was excellent, very professional, her service, her excellence in service, her communication was superb. Frank was another awesome member of staff. Both very professional but really nice and well coming. The young girl when we arrived was also excellent.

Incredible luxury for the price! Well equipped kitchen and the most relaxing shower but our favourite touch has to be the reclining sofas, perfect after a long walk! Lovely touch with the hamper that included the essentials like bread, butter and conserves. Would definitely come again.

Everything, the room was absolutely stunning along with the scenery. The host was lovely. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was outstanding. It was perfect for me and my partner, who haven't been away as a couple for 7 years. We will be going back.

Cook's Flat is perfect - beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with everything you need. The whole estate is heavenly - fabulous communal games and reading room downstairs, and a restored Victorian kitchen. Highland cattle and ponies grazing on parkland outside, and geese hanging out. Wonderful hosts, magical woodland, plenty of places to walk or sit and get your Nature Dose. Can absolutely recommend to future guests, and can't wait to return!

The barn made the weekend away, the communication from the host from booking was amazing and accommodated for us fully. Set in a beautiful location and the inside of the barn is just as beautiful, well designed and has everything you need. Feels more of a home from home than a typical holiday rental. Would definitely visit again
