Alexander Mountain Resort is located in Gerakari, 22 mi south of Rethymno. Set on the foot of Mount Kedros, it features an outdoor pool, tennis court and 50-person conference hall.

The building was quite new. The views were appealing in a village area. The village itself was not something spectacular. A good value for just 54 euros Spring time.

Fantastic location with stunning views. Due to the wrap around balcony, you can have shade at any time of day. The private pool was the perfect size and a wecome relief from the high temperatures experienced during our stay. Chrisi was a great host and responded and resolved any questions or issues we had promptly. Not that there were many as the accommodation was lovely and very clean. Overall, really enjoyed our stay

Very comfortable and tastefully designed accommodation. Lovely pool, amazing views. Away from the bustle of the main tourist area but a short drive 'into town' for shopping, dinner and beach

I’m always very thankful for good design and well thought out interior design and space use, plus the use of pleasing and calming neutral colours. A lot of white, stone and wood. The shower was a dream. The view breathtaking. The reception greeting enjoyable. The receptionist brought us the most delicious walnut & honey cake on our second day to check on us.

A lovely hotel with a lot of character and stunning views. My balcony was framed in bougainvillea in full bloom, with a gorgeous view of the sea and harbour. It was quiet, peaceful and the breakfast was excellent. Very good value too -I hope to visit again

Great location, lovely large apartment that was impeccably clean and well equipped. Gorgeous pool and stunning views from the extensive balcony. Had a delicious breakfast on one of our mornings, would have repeated but Greek cuisine guarantees constant over eating! Friendly and helpful owners. Bonus having the short and easy walk into town, so much better than being at the top of the hill where we stayed previously
