United StatesAfter weeks of traveling in bigger cities, this oasis on the black-sand coast of northern Bali was absolute perfection. The room we stayed in was an open-air bungalow and the fresh air and sounds of nature (while protected with mosquito netting) had me sleeping the best I have in months. Everyone we interacted with was warm, friendly, and welcoming. They took such exquisite care of us and our kids and made us feel like family. The food was delicious and varied enough that we never felt we were missing out by eating at the resort restaurant. We loved it so much we extended our stay from 5 nights to 9 and will absolutely try to make it back one day.

Lovely owners who were very attentive but the real star is Iluh, the most genuinely lovely person we’ve met on our travels around South East Asia. Our children still miss her terribly. Would advise a scooter or car for the area, or you’ll be relying on Ilhu for lifts 😂 For longer trips Iluh’s brother and cousin are both on hand with lovely cool cars and loads of local knowledge. The pool is stunning, the staff was awesome and very helpful. We also spend some time with great driver Gede Parma who took us for a car-trip near Batur lake. 100% recommend! rooms are cosy, wooden-vibe of Real Balinese culture, very clean and beautiful decoration waited for us with delicious fruits!!! love it!!Guest review byOlgaYoung couple
