The Stables Townhouse B&B, is located on the famous Georgian streetscape of Oxmantown Mall, in the heart of Birr and directly opposite Birr Theatre & Arts Centre.

Breakfast good choices but it was poorly cooked on.both mornings. Bacon and pudding way.over.done, inedible. Potato cake cold when served and porr flavour .Fine property great aspect location excellent but over priced

Stunning Georgian townhouse, beautifully decorated downstairs, great location short stroll to town centre, peaceful and welcoming. We were able to bring our elderly whippet too, all staff really nice, would recommend. Wonderful breakfast selection served in tastefully decorated front room, also we were able to sit in the private rear garden when the courtyard cafe was closed and enjoy the tranquil water fountain & sunset 😎👍🏻owner Caroline is so friendly & accommodating, this place is a little gem

Really nicely decorated, comfortable bed , great breakfast choices ( one of the best breakfast choices I’ve stayed in a long time ), gluten-free options , friendly staff , really homey. The boutique is great as well . We came to attend a wedding over a weekend, it was really nice to be able to come back and rest and rejuvenate between activities. The outdoor garden seating also lovely .

Menu for breakfast. I had the Irish breakfast, my husband had the breakfast bap. Additionally we had fresh orange juice and pastries. Coffee and tea lovely. Room is stunning with high ceilings. Big oak tree outside window. Fresh tea and coffee available in room. Beautiful interiors shop and we bought a beautiful print. Dog was welcomed too.

Such a lovely gem! Located in the sweet town of Birr, right next to the castle( don’t miss visiting!). Gorgeous breakfast with choices from the cafe-menu. Lovely rooms and so peaceful. And even with a beauty-parlour on the ground floor if needed🥰

Having lived in Birr I had regularly passed Spinners and been curious about what it would be like to stay there. Happy to report it's a lovely hotel quite unique in its layout/design with quaint and very comfortable rooms. The breakfast served was plentiful and delicious and the staff lovely too.

Stunning Georgian building with cosy rooms. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up!! Breakfast was delicious, I had avocado with poached eggs. The shop attached has some gorgeous clothes and interior design pieces. Cafe is also great for food and cakes. It's a short stroll to the castle and to the pubs and restaurants. Can't wait to return.
