Joe(the host) was very welcoming from the doorstep of the accommodation. The interior design, quality of everything starting from the hospitality, royal breakfast (I highly recommend Anne's omelette for breakfast), fresh and clean linen, room that is very spacious. Every minute detail of the place is laid out including dinnerware, towels arrangement. Joes tips on what to visit on the way home or near the area were very helpful. These are only some of the positives about the place but there is not enough space and also the words to present how amazing the place is.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Gorgeous location and friendly owner- there is a lovely common area and there was music sessions on while we were there. The kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! Very comfortable and so calm .
Breakfast was lovely. All the staff from check in to check out were outstanding. The location was excellent. The townhouse building was gorgeous as was the foyer to the rooms. We were lucky enough to be moved from the top floor to a street floor room as we had a heavy case and there is no lift. Very grateful for the flexibility.
Great location, on the north side of the river so right beside the start of the greenway. Breakfast was fantastic. Kay was lovely and so helpful. The mattress was high quality and very comfortable. The room was very clean and nicely designed to fit everything that I could practically need. All round it was fantastic.
The interior design! Really cool, really different! Really friendly welcome from reception. I made a request for an extra special stay, as the trip was to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday - they had a bottle of chilled prosecco in the room and homemade biscuits : )
Catherine’s bnb was excellent, the room was as nice as any boutique hotel. Had a great shower and nice decor. She even left us an Easter egg which was a lovely touch. Catherine’s 3 course breakfast was top class and she gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
