Ferndale Luxury Boutique Bed & Breakfast offers adult-only accommodation.

It's really luxurious. Each room is a piece of art, a masterpiece, and the host John is an artist. All is done with love and care. You can feel his soul in everything. Breakfasts are amazing. It feels like you are royalty.

Beautiful warm spotless cosy cottage, very warm & lovely beds. Fully equipped with everything you'd need & gorgeous welcome pack left for us. Right beside the beach & a small supermarket & a fantastic little pub The Shark Bait. A great little find, we will be back.

We loved the divilish banter from Jon from the moment we arrived, it kept us sharp as tacks. Alex and Jon just ooze professionalism and their attention to detail is second to none. Their culinary expertise and their design flair was absolutely captivating.

Jon and Alex are fantastic hosts who pay so much attention to every little detail and really made me feel welcome and comfortable. Their breakfasts alone were worth the trip to Achill Island and they are also very knowledgeable about the island and happy to advise guests on the best ways to enjoy it. The room design is just the right side of quirky and there was chocolate in the mini-fridge - in short, everything was perfect and this is definitely one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed at.

Beautiful room, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, with lovely views - such a relaxing stay. Deirdre and Tommy were very helpful and accommodating hosts and it was handy to have information in the room (menus for local restaurants etc., walking maps). We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay more if we had the chance! I would recommend 'The Currach' for breakfast in the village nearby (as breakfast not available in the house) - excellent pancakes and lovely staff. The Beehive was gorgeous for lunch too.

Absolutely stunning views from this gorgeous house located in Pollagh. Deirdre was a wonderful host, so friendly, welcoming and full of knowledge about the island. Great bathroom and shower facilities - particularly liked the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in sustainable bottles. The snacks and in-room amenties were wonderful. We'd definitely stay again.

John & Alex were the most fantastic hosts. We were given a very warm welcome with lovely touches such as delicious icecream on arrival. The views from here are breathtaking and the peace & tranquility of Keel is superb. The breakfast is to die for the choice taste freshness ten out of ten. I would return to Frendale if I’m ever lucky enough to visit Achill again. Fantastic base beautiful beaches and only few miles from the stunning Keem beach also. Truly amazing experience overall

Fantastic service from checking in, with John and Alex, offered us a great upgraded room deal, showed us how everything worked in the room and were extremely helpful. Breakfast selection was fantastic and meal in the evening was exceptional, and could beat a 5 star hotel. Stunning scenery around.

Perfect location, stunning views. Only 10 min drive to Keem beach. Rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. Rooms were also lovely and warm, could alter heat as desired. Very friendly and helpful hosts, Deirdre and Tommy, who provided information on things to do, places to eat, etc. They also had plenty of literature in the rooms on Achill and the Wild Atlantic Way.
