United StatesThe location is very special and scenic. The food is outstanding! We had some staff members go above and beyond. My only issue was our room had a very strong odor. It was a clean room but it was as if gas was leaking g from a pipe in the bathroom & the smell permeated the room even with the door closed. I asked them about it and the housekeeper sprayed air freshener, it made it smell worse. They did eventually move us and the room didn’t smell but we shouldn’t have been placed in the room to start with, it was a pain to repack. Everything else was outstanding!

Our room was immaculate and opened out into the courtyard. We ate breakfast afternoon tea and dinner in the hotel and all great food and service. A lovely walk around the grounds, nature trails and a walled garden. If you are looking for affordable luxury then I would recommend Lough Rynn. The staff were wonderful, 5 star treatment and facilities, Anissa at reception was particularly helpful even before we arrived. Anissa also upgraded half our group to a deluxe room which was very special and lovely! Beds extremely comfortable, clean, stunning location. Great breakfast. Best accomodation in Ireland.
