Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Only one real bar (Harbour Bar)to get drinks with disco dj so loud it was unbearable. Restaurants were good but little info published. As an example the Chinese Restaurant told us they had two seatings. This isn’t shown on the menu or online. We ate at the Japanese restaurant which was extremely good. Not a lot of European food choices. Mostly all Indian at all the restaurants. The 24 hour restaurant also has a limited supply of meat dishes ( mostly lamb) and a lot of buffets on the weekends.

They are very communicative right from the time I made a booking with them. They immediately welcomed me by sending me an email. And they always reply quickly. In the email they explained for whatever they have in the hotel. Mentioned all restaurants, let me know what time they open and closed. And the amazing part is that they have a beauty salon so I don’t need to go outside to get my hair done. Spa also open very early which is good. Few hours after checked in they called in my room just to check up on me. The room is super gorgeous and clean. Every time they see me at the lobby they always greet me by calling my name which was amazing.

Standing tall in the up-scale Cuffe Parade, the award-winning President Mumbai offers a swimming pool and pampering spa treatments.

Excellent breakfast every morning, enormous choices. The room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom and showers were nice. Location was excellent, easy walk to the main street of Colaba, and close to shopping areas and excellent restaurants. The hotel has great restaurants, including the Thai pavilion.

I arrived midnight at the hotel, and my room wasn't ready, there were other guests also had to wait for their rooms, we have to wait for around 30mnts, no apology, as if it was a normal thing

Overall, a pleasant surprise!

    I have stayed there three years ago, and still the staff recognized me and told me they were happy to see me. They had upgraded quite a lot, and even if everything is sort of snug, it's a lovely boutique hotel, well situated. Lots of nice shops and restaurants in neighborhood, and Kolana is just a five minutes taxi away. I give them 5 star.

    The staff is always so welcoming at Abode! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. This is my 5th stay at the property and I will keep coming back. It's so charming and beautifully designed. The rooms are so comfortable and the location is fabulous. It's my favourite boutique hotel in India.

    I really loved the atmosphere: very cozy and quiet, perfect to have some rest from the chaotic and vibrant life in Mumbai. The staff is very kind and professional, willing to help you in any occasion. I loved the room, very peculiar and with a very good taste in interior design. If I have to describe the experience with one word, would be "lovely"!

    Lovely little boutique hotel in a pleasant area of Mumbai . It's a rather small property with narrow stairs/ corridors and small lift. So, those who are used to staying in chain, branded hotels and prefer those, then it's not for you. This hotel is for those who wish to experience something classy, artistic and unique. Although, it's small, it's rooms are large and the interior decor / furniture is unique and outstanding. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
