Wonderful buffet breakfast. Mountain views from the room. Nicely appointed room. Not large but enough. Semi private outside seating area with the room. Only improvement could be a bit more comfortable bed. Note that rooms are in several different buildings arranged like a pinwheel. You will need to drive or walk to the main building for breakfast.
This hotel is located on Mount Hengill, 11 mi from UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park. Its restaurant offers Nordic specialties and a bar with panoramic scenic views.

The Hotel was really good 👌🏻
Me and my fiancé ordered the fish of the day.
My fish was over cooked, it was dry and rubbery. The waitress asked us how the meal was and I told her about the fish. Her response "i will let them know in the kitchen" no sorry and no discount :(
My fiancé had the same and her fish was superb.
So unfortunately this affect my review
Boasting chic and modern interiors including a fully equipped kitchen, this house is 11 mi from Selfoss village with panoramic views of the wild Icelandic landscape.

Very clean property with an attentive host. Great overall location in relation to the South Coast and the Golden Circle.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Fantastic facilities, hot tub was a plus! Rooms were spacious and the living area was lovely for group hang-outs. Breakfast was delicious - such a spread.
The bedroom was absolutely beautiful, with handy access to the outdoor hot tub and views of the mountains. Very clean and comfortable. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.
