This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter.

Booked double room and twin room. Rooms were clean, bit too warm (we just turned off the radiators). Staff were really friendly and helpful, good choice for breakfast (continental). Restaurant food was delicious, staff were always very helpful and attentive. Hotel is in the process of expansion, so there was some construction noise on a morning, but nothing too disruptive. Only recommendation for the hotel that i would suggest would be to link up with some of the tours as you have to make your way into Reykjavik for coach/minibus pick-up and drop-off.

Charming boutique hotel. Great location, very friendly and informative staff! We stayed in a cabin that although small and basic, was meticulously clean. The shower pressure is amazing although the water has a sulfur smell which apparently is common for the area. We had to leave for the airport before breakfast and they were kind enough to make us a sandwich to take with us. We rented a car and there was plenty of parking.

Amazing apartment, designed by a person with good taste. The appartment has all the appliances you need and more. 4k TV with reclining arm chairs. I did not expect such quality and taste from the pictures. The view of the harbour beautiful.
