This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbor in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbor during winter.

The staff is very nice and helpfull and I the best thing of the hotel. The hotel decoration very nice and viking style. The living room and the restaurant are very interesting. The breakfast was good. The location is good as well if you want to avoid the city center. For me was good after the flight.

Reykjavik Residence combines hotel services with self-catering apartments that offer flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and modern kitchen facilities.

Loved everything from the Villaroy and Bosch crockery, L'Occitane products and real milk in the fridge! Staff were very helpful. The bed was a bit hard for me, and no different pillow choices.

Set in Reykjavík’s old town, this property is 5 minutes’ walk from the Laugavegur shopping street. Free WiFi is available. All accommodations options at Reykjavík Treasure B&B have private bathrooms.

Hello! Awesome little B&B. Great find and loads better than just a hotel. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful in every way possible. It’s tucked away but close to truly everything with a walk or public transportation. My last night I was the only one staying there, the communication was just as attentive as before/during the rest of my stay. I will definitely book again given the chance.

Apartment was clean, spacious, and in the best location. The beds were very comfortable, and it was easy to control the temperature in the unit. We cooked in the kitchen quite a bit, and it was nicely appointed. Overall, a lovely stay!

Charming boutique hotel. Great location, very friendly and informative staff! We stayed in a cabin that although small and basic, was meticulously clean. The shower pressure is amazing although the water has a sulfur smell which apparently is common for the area. We had to leave for the airport before breakfast and they were kind enough to make us a sandwich to take with us. We rented a car and there was plenty of parking.
