Quiet area, had everything needed, comfortable bed, great shower. We got a lift to the airport, they’re storing our car and picking us up when we come back.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.

Our hosts were fabulous and very kind. We really enjoyed our stay. They speak many languages, left us homemade chocolate every evening, share tips, recommendations and are very welcoming. The private natural thermal water is amazing too!

    Way higher than average stay near the airport. The room is beautifully designed, stylish and comfortable. The area is quiet but the walls are thin, which has the potential of noise if you get bad neighbors - which wasn't our case. Given this is a hotel most people go for a quick stay before catching a flight, it shouldn't be a problem.

    Upper floor of a historic house converted into a lovely, spacious, modern apartment with great interior design. On of the best places we stayed in during 2 weeks in Iceland. Had everything you needed and more, like coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, creamer etc. Was a great space for our family to spend our last night, and I wish I had booked it for our arrival too!

    Undoubtedly one of the best places where we have ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and interior design at a very good standard and even chocolates on arrival. Large TV, sofas and a good size fridge freezer. Thank you for providing us such a lovely place. Oh yes, parking was free and right in front of the apartment
