Located in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites, Rosapetra SPA Resort offers a spa and a free shuttle to the Faloria ski slopes, 0.6 mi away.

This spa resort is fabulous! The accomodations were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful with an array of buffet style options. The location was excellent. A lovely 1.3 mile walk into town via a path (an old railroad that was converted into a walkway) that went along the valley and above the town. The staff was exceptional. Shout out to Canio at concierge, Valentina and Fabrizio at the restaurant and everyone at the front desk. And then there was the wellness spa...so well done, never felt crowded, several different saunas, cold plunge, pool and a Finnish sauna with a big picture window looking out at the valley. Rooms were good size, so quiet you never heard anything outside with lovely balconies facing the valley or patios. The resort is extremely upscale but chill enough to walk around (and encouraged by staff) in provided robes from room to the spa. Free parking was nice with a valet if needed. This resort went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and memorable, we really didn't want to leave. Thank You Rosapetra, hope to back one day!

Have no idea why people say it needs renovation. The property is truly great both architecturally and naturally. Everything from the welcoming smile of a receptionist, spacious and modern lobby with true Italian muzak to the comfortable room with terrific view (night and day), crisp bed linen, soft towels and well-elaborate design: simple and practical yet elegant with refined landscapes - all of it created the magic to a place. The dining area has its own ambiance. Breakfast is abundant. A lot of parking spaces.
