Set in the village of Borgomaro, Relais del Maro is 20 minutes' drive from Imperia on the Ligurian Riviera. This property opened in 2012 and offers a terrace and pool with hydromassage corner.

The staff were very good. They were keen to make sure that guests were being looked after well and it felt like they cared about the hotel's high standards. The breakfasts and other food and drinks on offer were high quality.

We have stay in this hotel a number of times on our travels. We like that we can park at or close to the room. The spaciousness of the room and it is always very clean. It’s a motel style layout so all rooms are on the ground floor

In a quiet, peaceful residential area, close to the centre of town and very near the sea, Hotel Villa Maria offers en suite rooms with a classic décor.

Breakfast buffet was served, was a litte weird and the guest felt observed. The toilet did not stop running the water.

    Location was rural as expected. Good base to use for touring or occasional visit to coast. Was lovely to have afternoon tea included in the price , allowing some chill out time . Breakfast had a wide array of high quality choices… including bacon and scrambled eggs!

    This hotel is exceptional. Stylish and thoughtful interior design, fantastic breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks. lovely swimming pool and beautiful garden. The staff were totally lovely, welcoming and helpful. Loved it so much and so grateful for the welcome we received.

    I really loved all the people that worked in the hotel. They were so friendly and positive and really made you feel welcomed. All buildings was thoroughly renovated in a charming way caring for details. The garden was lovely.

    Beautiful village, lovely small pool and garden. Room was nice, bathroom was fine but not fantastic. I’m sure rooms vary. The staff were exceptional in terms of service, helpfulness and friendliness!
