This was such a mix of really good and really bad. On the positive side, the location is stunning with beautiful views in a quiet location away from the noisy centre. Also a very pleasant walk into town along a good pavement. There is a receptionist there in the afternoons who was very helpful. But the room was absolutely tiny, it took ages to get hot water in the shower and, when it did, it was little more than a dribble. It’s a strange hybrid between hotel and self catering but with an absolutely abysmal breakfast provided. See the picture of the single muffin and the broken biscuits meant for two! There is a kettle but no tea, only coffee. There is a small hot plate in the room but nowhere to eat. There is a communal kitchen area which feels a bit like a youth hostel.

Amazing experience staying here, surrounded by history. The apartment is huge and it's lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the street, with the mountains in the distance. The owner was really responsive and helpful. This is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed before! Fantastic location in beautiful Cefalu.
