We had a wonderful stay at Villa Athena Resort. The whole staff was very caring and helpful. We loved that we could walk to the temples and museum from the hotel. Don’t think twice, just book it!

The room was clean and comfortable, and we were able to park nearby on the street. Best of all were the people: Lia greeted us with local sesame cookies and advice on where to eat and what to see, and Damiano served us a nice breakfast, explaining how to make the Sicilian "mignolata" savory pastry.

Gorgeous property. Time of year not great with no access to the beach or open facilities. Spa was closed while we were there early in the week but they arranged for the masseuse to come in on her day off for us. She was very good!
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Lush surroundings made this accommodation very special! The pool and gardens were very peaceful - felt like an oasis. The rooms and facilities were decorated with style and gave a sense of luxury. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and very Sicilian.
The modern architectural design of hotel and rooms is exemplary. A gem. Excellent food, breakfast & dinner. Perfect to visit Valley of the Temples, and hotel kindly sorted the car parking.
We stayed only one night, but we wished we could have spent few more days in this beautifully designed property, with exotic garden and relaxing swimming pool area.
Johnson took really good care of us, as we arrived late in the evening.
Very imaginatively designed apartment and extremly friendly owner. The sights around Agrigento can be reached in no more than 45 minutes. We were most impressed by Torre salsa beach. The Favara Farm Cultural Park is also interesting.
Everything the room had a beautiful wooden high ceiling, dim lights and a lot of space. The bathroom was made in stones and was very large. The room was so clean and had a subtle and fine smell. The hotel is carefully designed with an exquisite mix between modern and authentic design. Having a gourmet dinner at the rooftop restaurant facing the cathedral was the icing on the cake.
Friendly welcome. An interestingly designed modern hotel slotted into the historic setting. Room and bathroom was clean, with comfortable bed, and good views of church dome! Restaurant staff friendly too, accommodating a vegetarian. Favara is an interesting town for its history, albeit not particularly set up as a tourist town. The hotel reception was very helpful in guiding us to the "Farm"
Lovely stylish house next to inspirational artists ' Farm Cultural Park' in Favara. Quiet and comfortable. Would suit a family. Close to Piazza Cavour with good cafes and restaurants.
