Employees are very friendly. They even help with issues related to the city. Additional solutions (pillows etc.) are answered immediately. The dust problem with the lamp was observed and solved the next day. I would prefer it if I come again.

Just 50 metres from the Cathedral, Hotel Nazionale is in the historic centre of Ferrara with its Castle Estense. It offers modern rooms with LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.

We booked this hotel because it was mentioned they had a car park. When we checked in for 2 nights someone told us we could park “not far” but would have to leave early the next morning because of the local market. He finally indicated the public outdoor car park. We dragged ourselves there and we harassed and threatened by 4 bums and were able to escape because we yelled in French and they couldn’t start négociations. We reported it to the hotel and the receptionist just said :” they are not very nice” . He had make us write our plate number “in case something happens to you” and we also wrote on this paper chart that we had been harassed. I would have completely freaked out if I had been alone / in the dark with those huge individuals. No more outdoor car park far away from the hotels for us.

Clean and tidy, well maintained and taken care. Staff were all very kind. Position is a bit out of the city center (about 15 min walk) but this make it a very quiet place.

Great location - the hotel placed in the heart of the historic part of the city. A wonderful, boutique hotel with original rooms design. You can have the breakfast inside or in the garden with olive trees. Value for money.

This is very much a boutique hotel at a very affordable price and without any of the amateurish shortfalls often typical of such places. Onthe contrary, it's like a highly professional old time hotel on a small and very cosy scale (but nothing twee either). It's very well located too.

Leonardo was so welcoming. The place was cozy, classy, and a very good value. There was a small lovely garden in the back that we wish we had had time for. If the off-season rates stay the same, we will definitely return to Leonardo’s Boutique Rooms 3.0.

Cozy studio, lovely design and decorated, we loved everything about it. Nice wooden touch in the apartment and bathroom aswell, attention to details and usage of every little space, although not big, we found everything we needed to enjoy a perfect stay. Great coffee, bars and aperitivi just belowz, location in downtown, very close to Duomo and Castello. Highly recommended!

Little extras such as complementary Prosecco and bottles of water. Size of the room was good and comfortable. Good location for walking around and parking the car. A little facial gadget was also nice. Lovely boutique hotel I would definitely stay again when I’m back to Ferrara.

If you have an interest in brilliant renovation/interior design, this place will charm you. I have never seen a small, ancient space be more seamlessly turned into a high-fashion urban nest for two. Genius.

The apartment is right in the centre of town in a historic district but still surprisingly quiet. The apartment is lovely, spacious, bright and nicely decorated with small details. The design of the place is interesting and unique, perfect for a couple's retreat. If you plan to be in Ferrara, you definitely should try to stay in this apartment! This will surely be my first choice when I return to Ferrara! A perfect 10.

Such a lovely hotel. Great location and free parking in designated areas around the hotel. We booked the cheapest category, as we stayed only for one night. Lovely littel room with view into the green courtyard. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast room and great breakfast. Hidden gem. Thanks to the team - we enjoyed our stay!
