The location is great—just 5 minutes from a lively street full of shops. I really liked that it’s not too close to the center, as that gives you the chance to enjoy a beautiful ferry ride at sunset or in the morning. Still, it’s only a 30-minute walk to the city center, which I found perfect. You get to explore the charming streets, maybe grab a gelato on the way—and suddenly that 30-minute walk becomes a lovely experience.
As for the hotel itself, the staff was very friendly, willing to offer restaurant recommendations and provide a map for Venice. The room was comfortable, and while the hotel is small, it’s very clean and definitely met my expectations. One highlight for me was that the bathroom had a bidet—something I really appreciated!
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
An exclusive, great, stylish hotel on the island of Lido. The Neo-Renaissance building is decorated with wonderful polychrome majolica. Spacious room with a unique design, modern furnishings and comfort. A wonderful roof terrace where you can watch the sunset. Very good restaurant with excellent menu and service. Attentive staff. What else could be needed?
The personnel was very very kind, the service was excellent and the breakfast pretty good. The design of the hotel is traditional with some local classy touches. We really enjoyed the bar. I would recommend it for sure!
