Very nice boutique hotel, great deco, and very clean. It's true it's very close to the highway but you can't hear any noise with windows closed.

Huge, beautifully furnished room and bathroom! Impressive lobby, too, and with free tea and coffee facilities both in room and lobby. Completely quiet, and dog friendly too. The owner/caretaker was super friendly and accommodating, and even came back to help when we couldn't remember where we parked our car. Even our fellow guests were nice! And old town Piacenza is delightful.

The location is handy if travelling through Italy to France, but is near a busy road. The hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast was the best we encountered on a four day trip from the south of Italy to the UK. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
