perfect location, nice atmosphere, cozy place for long stay, good facilities esp onsen both public and private.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Amazing location, just a couple of minutes away from Ito station and right by the ocean.
The open bath is not tattoo friendly, however there were other options available, both free and for a small fee. Highly recommend paying for the open air bath, it’s located on the roof terrace with an excellent view, lovely atmosphere and relaxing bath.
Very friendly staff.
Ito is a very charming town with gorgeous nature and lovely atmosphere.
The room (river view) was incredibly beautiful, comfortable and with stunning views. Sleeping on the tatami floor was lovely. The public bath is really impressive, don't skip it! We also took a bath in the private onsen, very nice. The common areas are really big, beautiful and with lovely views of the river. Overall an amazing building with great value for money.
Great little location and great vibe. Lots of great little eateries and coffee places in the vicinity.Staff were lovely. Set up lots of cosy places to hang out. Stylish presentation. Provided reading material - great books- and fresh coffee.
The family room with river view was stunning. Wonderful for solo travellers like myself who want to experience some “zen” and relax. The balcony doors open right up so that you can hear the flow of the river and feel the cool breeze enter the room. The private hot spring, beautiful common areas (also looking out onto the Itoo River) and friendly staff made my stay all the more better.
Thank you K’s Hostel for making these kinds of experiences affordable! The same room would cost an absolute fortune anywhere else.
Thank you to K’s house for an amazing time in Ito. We loved the communal spaces, so lovely to sit in and catch the winter sun and read whilst waiting for the washing and drying( an absolute saviour with two teenagers). The onsen was gorgeous and the locals so hospitable, definitely our highlight on our second Japan holiday.
Absolutely happy to have been able to stay in this historic ryokan. A gorgeous house, so much bigger than expected and perfect as a hostel - two kitchens on different floors, huge, comfy lounge(s), lots of toilets.
Wonderful onsen as well (we used it every day), and a lovely room with balcony and river view. (very hot when we stayed there, but the AC was working perfectly)
Great value for money in the area, gorgeous spot overlooking the river in a historical Ryokan. Lovely living areas. We wanted to try the private onsen but it was occupied for most of the night. Tatami mats are cosy and air conditioning is in the room.
