Originally built in 1889 as a red-brick cotton mill, this historical hotel is just 984 feet from the Bikan Historical Quarter. It features 2 restaurants, a bar and gift shop.

Great location. Very quiet.
Room small and shower floor slippery.
Just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is located in a historic Bikan district in Kurashiki. Each guest room features unique design and stylish interior.

Hostel Cuore was clean, well located, and very well maintained. The Hostel itself seemed very hip. There was a connecting cafe that offered breakfast to include in the stay. The room itself was spacious and very clean. It was a fun loft layout and the connecting private bathroom was fairly large (though there was no bathtub). The location of the hostel itself was fairly well located a street over from the Kurashiki Historical District making it an easy walk. The staff were all very pleasant and easy to communicate with.
A 7-minute walk from Rian Bunko Art Museum, Torii-Kuguru features 1-star accommodations in the Kita Ward district of Okayama.

Such a fantastic stay! Staff were so friendly and kind, location was fantastic, beds were comfy. It felt like a very trendy area, with late night cafes and good food.
There are no staff around in the morning, so if you want to hire a bike etc you will need to organise the night before.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
This is by far the classiest property that I have stayed in anywhere in the world. It’s pure elegance and very high brow design and beautiful location.
We love the room and the design. Every morning we felt very blessed when waking up seeing the lovely garden and bright sunlight. Definitely would love to come back again.
Stunning location, beautiful views of the sea from my room. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, as was the lasagne that they serve for dinner. Everything was very clean. Mount Ouijigatame Thank you!!
What a beautiful place! The interior is gorgeous, thought was clearly put into every detail. It is practical and beautifully designed.
The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the place is quiet while in a very central location.
The staff was super friendly and helpful when we arrived.
This is not just a hotel but an establishment with interesting history.
