An incredible experience. Beautiful home, tons of space, comfortable onsen with large bath, and a courtyard built right into the center of the property. Couldn’t be happier.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Awesome location, superb views. Room was really spacious and very clean. Design is dated, but it has it own charm. Location is perfect for Miyajima ferry. Breakfast was tasty.
Absolutely gorgeous self contained villa. Comfortable bed, good shower, lovely outdoor bath. Well stocked self service bar. Simple check in at the ryokan down the hill - friendly service, a great dinner and a good breakfast. Just lovely. I would love to stay here for a week or more.
This accommodation was gorgeous and spacious. Our room had a lovely view. The futons were very comfortable and even though it was really cold outside, we were warm in our room. There was curry provided for dinner and it was lovely. We were lucky as the restaurants closed early there.
View out the window to Miyajima was gorgeous. Loved the room with both beds and a futon tatami area.
Breakfast was great. Heaps of options, fresh and yummy!
Onsen was lovely!
Shuttle bus from the station was great and timetabling of it was great for us to get in and out of town.
Our room was amazing and absolutely loved our room and its facilities, the view and the traditional feel, atmosphere and design of the room. We were very impressed. The veiw was incredible and having a balcony was lovely for the fresh air. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional right down to the little gift packs in the bathroom. Reception staff very friendly and even though there was a language barrier, we were able to figure things out.
Loved to be in a place where there is a pool!!! It was so hot and humid.
The hotel is gorgeous and the staff (particularly a woman from Taiwan whose name I unfortunately cannot spell) were SO lovely and helpful. The traditional Japanese room with views onto the garden/mountains was stunning, huge, and impeccably clean. The Japanese breakfasts & dinners, including their oysters, were fantastic.
This is a really wonderful place to stay. The location is extremely convenient (just across from the pier and a ~10-15 minute walk into town centre and to the shrine). It is spacious, clean and nicely designed. The bedroom has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the spacious shower room. We didn’t try cooking in the kitchen ourselves, but it seemed well equipped.
We would love to come back someday!
