The location was perfect, it was close to the main train station and the centre of town.
Bus stop was nearby and easy to access Nara park.
The century old Nara Hotel features classic Japanese architecture and elegant rooms with free WiFi. Located on Nara Park’s beautiful hills, it overlooks the ancient capital’s historic sites.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Calm and tranquil space. Best bathroom and shower we have had in Japan, large wet room style and very well designed. Very comfortable and clean. Cafe bar was lovely with a great view of deer on the hill in the evening.
Our room was well designed with the Japanese style, our bed was made for us after dinner. It was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and extremely friendly. Lovely time!
Great design of the rooms and hotel; good Japanese breakfast and nice atmosphere in the coffee/breakfast area. Spacious rooms, bigger than average hotel rooms in Japan. Definitely recommended. Also, great location, close to Nara attractions.
Beautifully designed hotel with tasteful accent of Japanese wood.
Lovely facilities with spacious rooms and a lovely restaurant that serves breakfast, dinner and has also a small self serving bar for an aperitif.
However the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Absolutely lovely, helpful and professional. We had the pleasure to be checked-in by Rie and she was absolutely brilliant. So lovely and helped us settle rapidely so we could be ready for a wedding photoshoot we had on the day.
The design of the hotel is stunning and it's really close to the deer park.
We stayed in the underground room and we were really impressed by how cozy and comfortable it was.
