The staff were so kind and welcoming and the house is very clean, with a cool design and a lot of space. Our room was really nice, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful views of the hills. The shared spaces had tons of games, information books about the area and books to share. If I visit the Izu area again, I will definitely stay here. The dinner and breakfast buffet were not huge in terms of choices but the food was all delicious and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. The staff were all so friendly, kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was spectacular. There are two outdoor baths with lovely views that can be booked for private use. From when I got recommended about this hostel, to checking the photos, to getting there (even on a rainy day), I was amazed by the view and the interior. It's a very nice designed space for travellers to enjoy the seaside of Shimoda. You can use the bikes (for free) and rent surf boards and stand up paddling boards. The owners were really nice, always hanging out and chatting with everyone. The vibes there were great!! Beds were comfortable, the whole place was always so clean.
