United KingdomLovely safari lodge on the outskirts of Nakuru. Lovely and very comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and dinner overlooking the pond. Run by the same people who own an orphanage just behind the lodge which can go and visit.

I love the fact that the location looks like someone is living in a remote village, with trees bringing in fresh air and the birds chirping in the morning to wake you up. The tents were elegant. That design, raising the tent above ground and having in-build toilets and bathrooms is excellent. The showers were hot. The bathrooms were spacious. The bed is large enough. No sight of mosquitoes. The surrounding area is vast and calming & having access to the restaurant and pool of Ziwa Lodge makes it even better. The house is so beautiful with very unique designs and finishes. Also loved that it was private and secluded so you get to have your private time without interference. Apart from all this, the property sharing the plot, with an other house (The Shed) - we took that one as well:) and there are also a super restaurant and swimming pool.
