Clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Brilliant location, right on the lake and close to Fort. Huge pool and well equipped gym. Helpful staff.

Beautiful colonial hotel with a wealth of history behind it. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The downside was that from the photos it looks like a hotel on the beach when in reality it’s not a beach you can access easily and sit on and the sea is too rocky and dangerous to swim in. Also got food poisoning from a hotel burger. Overall it’s a must visit hotel due to its history and elegance

Stunning historic Mena house in a perfect location between Colombo and Colombo airport. The hotel is a true gem. Local cuisine is served at the restaurant ( amazing ) and the swimming pool is a great place to relax and unwind. Had one of the best massages of my life at the hotel spa ! I truly recommend it!
