This riad was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable, with the added bonus of a bathtub. The terrace was beautiful and a great spot to unwind. Overall, a pleasant experience—would return.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Chbanate. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they made good recommendations. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and breads. We booked the room on top of the hotel which is a quirky extension. You have to step down into the bath to take a shower so it is only suitable for guests with good mobility.

We had an amazing time staying at the Madada Mogador. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great tips about things to do around town (even during last day of Ramadan). Location is perfect, breakfast at the terrace was super nice and the restaurant is 5 stars ❤️ much love. Hope to be back one day.

Great experience overall. The room was great and comfortable, nice details. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Easy to get to everything you want to see in Essaouira.

A beautiful riad, very comfortable. We've now learnt that it's best to have the owners living on site, which brings soul and heart to the riad. That was the only thing lacking here.

This was an absolutely stunning Riad.. exceptional comfort, breakfasts, attention to detail and standard of service.

At the heart of the Old Medina, La Maison des Artistes is within walking distance to the souks, fishing port and beach.

Beautiful accommodation. The view at the roof terrace is otherworldly. Very clean - the place is thoroughly cleaned everyday - and the breakfast is very good. Isabelle has a sense of hospitality that is "hors catégorie". I am a solo traveler, and Isabelle and Abdelkader really took care of me; it felt like a sanctuary. Isabelle gives great recommendations on where to eat. One day Isabelle took me to the market to buy some fish, chose a restaurant for me where they grilled the fish and even showed me how to eat sardines the Moroccan way. Do visit the hammam, Isabelle makes reservations. My only regret is that I did it the last day of my stay, otherwise I would have definitely done it again.
