Riad Lahboul is a traditional Moroccan guest house located at the edge of Meknes’s Medina in northern Morocco. It has 3 panoramic rooftop terraces offering views of the Atlas Mountains and the...

Riad Lahboul is in a great location, just inside the wall of the medina and close to the historical gardens. It is a quick walk to the souks, main plaza, and Imperial City. But because of its location at the edge of the medina, it is also convenient for going to the new city, catching busses, and other activities. Hassan was exceptionally helpful for us and met us at the gate to walk us to the Riad (which was important because we arrived after dark). The Riad itself is beautiful -- incredible tile and plaster work. The food is also terrific. Breakfasts were very good, with plenty of extra coffee. We also paid for a couscous meal at Riad Lahboul one night, and it was both delicious and very reasonably priced. Hassan also arranged for us to have some laundry done. The room itself was very comfortable and had a well laid-out bathroom with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Riad Yacout, which dates from 1830, offers a patio with a pond and a solarium on its terrace.

Rooms were nice, clean and had wide bed. Interior lobby looked beautiful. Roof terrace was nice though pool was empty. (May have been drought as noticed lot of fountains and pools empty all around.)

One of the few hotels/riad that havent have problem with good pressure and hot water in the bathroom. Interior design is also interesting. Mattress is firm, but i think this is the standard in Morroco. We were with car and there was available parking space.

Our stay was fantastic! The riad is 600 years old, architecture and design are so authentic and take you to the journey through time. Our room was big with high ceiling and very comfortable. The hosts are so lovely people, it was a great pleasure to have conversations with them. Breakfast was traditional, good and tasty. If you are visiting Meknes, you should definitely stay in this riad as it’s not just a hotel but an extraordinary experience that will enrich you Moroccan trip.

Riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, although if you come by car it’s not a problem at all, there is a guarded parking (20 dirham per night) 5 minutes away and you don’t need to drive through the narrow streets to get there. Juliette is an excellent host, communication was perfect, she quickly answered all our questions. The interior design is beautiful and keeps the soul of the place, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it’s quiet at night. For those travelling during winter, it was also warm.

The Riad is set in a beautiful building and is gorgeously decorated in Moroccan-French style. My room was stunning, clean and comfortable. Nice roof terrace, although I didn’t get to enjoy it as it had been raining, in any case there are lovely places to sit and relax inside. The staff are absolutely lovely, extremely welcoming and full of useful advice. I loved staying here!

Stunningly beautiful Riad decorated in original Moroccan design. Everything is handcrafted - the tile work, the carved plaster, the wooden ceiling trim, the wrought iron work. Room was comfortable and the owner and staff were warm and helpful. We had one dinner and it was excellent. Location in the Medina was very convenient.

The patio is very spacious and green. Moreover, a big rooftop terrace adds another charming space to the hotel. Even though we had a room on the ground floor, we enjoyed our stay very much. looks like the Riad was recently renovated. Overall very good value for money in comparison to other Riads in Morocco. Very detailed touch on the interior design choice. You can tell that someone with a good taste owns this place
