Set in a restored historical building, Museum Hotel offers traditionally-decorated accommodations in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site George Town.

Offered a steamer which fell to pieces and burnt my face. Cut my arm in the spa bathspa was cracked and patched up with sealants but had sharp edges exposed. No phone in Room on arrival. We were told there were no phones but one was found. No ironing board in the whole hotel. Over priced food in restaurant and while breakfast was free it was not up to scratch. Other guests complained during breakfast about portions. The manager did not respond to more serious concerns. Room service have a serious language barrier and are expected to communicate withhotel guests.

Situated in George Town, 1.4 km from Northam Beach, Eastern & Oriental Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden.

Fantastic hotel, we were in the Annex and had a 'King' room. Lots of space and a great view. 2 x breakfast rooms. A much busier and more selection one, however we liked the smaller, 'continental' one on the same floor as the fantastic swimming pool. Overall, well worth the additional money.

Boasting a an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Penang offers accommodation in Penang. Guests can enjoy meals in the on-site restaurant.

The staff were lovely, the balcony rooms have a great sunset view, and the breakfast & weekend buffet are amazing… so much choice, and really good flavours. Not the best location, but we were aware of that. The half board midweek is from a very limited menu, although the staff bent the rules a few times to give us something different.

Hard Rock Hotel Penang offers contemporary-style accommodations along Batu Ferringhi Beach. It houses a 26,000 square feet outdoor pool, water slides and luxurious pool-side cabanas.

Overall, the experience of staying in this hotel was good. Love the view & room decoration. Tried the room-dining services and it was delicious. The down side of the room was, I tried to increase the aircond temperature as my son was having a flu, but no matter what temperature I set on the AC controller it was still cold and does not make any difference. Other than that, everything was fine. Will come back to this hotel again as there is so much to explore.

The hotel is small but quite complete + very comfortable, and I like it very much because I feel very homely during my stay there. It is operated by 2 very friendly and bubbly sisters who would do anything to ensure our stay is comfortable. My mom and some guests even had their breakfast in pyjamas every morning as everyone is treating it like their home. It doesn't have that kind of formality and restrictions as in an international 5 star hotel. Very family oriented and cosy!

The whole environment, location, cleanliness and comfort. Room was in perfect size, not too small. There was adequate covered parking, which is a luxury in Penang. Lots of shop adjacent and surrounding the hotel, very convenient for guests.

House is nice, due to the developers design. Other than that in total dismay by the experience.

The view of the mountain from our room was lovely. The view from the top at the restaurant is amazing. The room was very spacious and great to have the two connected rooms. The bathroom was quirky but fun! The beds were comfortable. The overall cleanliness of the room was fantastic. The café on the corner of the building was a highlight. The staff at the café were very informative. and the food was worth while especially the breakfast.
