The location is perfect. The apartment was beautiful and had loads of small details, but there were some elements that could be improved; a longer couch would have made it more comfortable, and some of the power outlets did not work and/or we're not in the most convenient locations. The breakfast was very basic. The elevator is only for staff, which was a bit of a disappointment...I live in a walkup and did not want to spend a vacation walking up/down stairs. The biggest glitch was that one of the key cards did not work, and there was no one at reception...very inconvenient. A small table next to the bathtub would have been useful. Overall, it's a lovely hotel, and I would consider staying there again.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth 4 Stars
The furniture is broken and outdated, and the overall cleanliness is poor – there were visible stains on the towels. The chair in the room was unusable, and there were no glass cups provided, only low-quality paper cups. This hotel is certainly not up to 4-star standards; at best, it would qualify as a 3-star. I had booked a suite, but what I received was just a large room, not a proper suite as commonly expected in 4-star hotels. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

"When you're here, you're family" is what it feels like to stay here for me. There's the flexibility with breakfast and the personal attention, should you want or need it. I think my favorite thing is to sleep with the windows open and hear the old church bells chime the hour and half-hour. The ferry is a few minutes away by foot and the train station, a short, scenic walk.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
The property is located in a lovely and quiet town. The entire house is spacious, comfortable and clean, Owner has provided everything that makes my stay pleasant.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful accomodation.we would like to say thank you to Sjoerd and Gwen for letting us stay in this lovely house.it was absolutely perfect .we enjoyed every minute.it is in our agenda for next trip.Well recommended.
