The town was super nice, it was walking distance from the Flam Railway, which is the main attraction.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
nice and beautiful location. 6-7 min walk from the train and cruise station. Big windows opening in the open sitting area. Facilities for heating and cooking the food, designated space in refrigerator.
We had 3 very enjoyable nights staying there. Super-quiet and peaceful with very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Very clean, spacious and well equipped accommodation. Lovely terrace outside with gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend.
A stunning hotel inside and out and a lovely bit of ‘luxury’ for us after lots of hiking and cycling. Great location and clean, comfy rooms. The breakfast was really nice, lots of options. Staff were all really friendly.
What a beautiful and unusual place! The house is stunning and beautifully set out. The staff were so friendly and kind and we absolutely loved our stay. The view from the shared balcony is out of this world. The shared kitchen is lovely. So many places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We had one luxury stay (not a hostel!) in Norway and we're so glad that this is where we chose to have it.
Amazing location, cannot fault how close it is to everything. Very lovely rooms and designs. Slightly dated but it suits the vibe and feels very authentic. The staff are reserved but very professional and friendly.
Evrything!! Feel homey, host and staff are friendly and warmth~ They gave us recommendation, shared some jokes, made us feel like in our home. Amenities were eloquent! Has the best view of Fjords. Interior design was totally wonderful.
The cabin is a slice of heaven! If you would like to be surrounded by waterfalls, mountains, nature, clear starry nights and absolute peace- this is the place to be. The photographs do not do this place justice. We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is well designed, cosy and warm and stylish. We didn’t see or hear anyone throughout our stay, we truly felt we were in the heart of nature. The mum looking after and running the cabins is warm and welcoming and very lovely. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next stay.
Good location
Apartments are small and fairly basic in design but in a good location - beautiful views and less than 15 minute walk to all attractions. Apartments upstairs do not have access to a private outside area but there are picnic tables outside for general use. Only one supermarket in Flam so go early as shelves nearly empty by the time we got there in the evening. Flam definitely worth a visit as stunning scenery.
