Hotel Tibet International is a minute’s walk from Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu and 1 km from Pashupatinath Temple – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The lovely Tibetan-style hotel is a hidden haven of calm in the bustling Boudha neighborhood. The rooms are spacious—slightly dated, but very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious local and Western dishes, and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking.

At The Dwarika’s Group of Hotels and Resorts, our ethos is about giving back to our guests, to Nepal, and to the planet – a philosophy that informs all that we do.

A very warm welcome to an oasis of calm and peace in the bustling city. Walking distance to the centre to Durban Square (though taxis available), and very near the sacred site by the river. Staff always helpful - room absolutely wonderful! Gardens glorious and we enjoyed sitting outside for drinks and meals.

Thagu Chhen, A Boutique Hotel is located within 50 metres to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property.

The space and size of the suite are incredibly large and spacious. It features a generous living area with a balcony, which we didn’t use due to the air pollution outside. However, the living room was extremely comfortable, perfect for watching TV, exercising, doing yoga, relaxing, or even taking a nap. The kitchen is spacious but has only the basics, suitable for preparing tea, coffee, or simple meals. We requested a French press at the reception to make coffee, and they provided it immediately. The bathroom is large, but there is no curtain or partition to prevent water from spreading across the floor when showering. However, there is hot water. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but upon request, the reception brought one right away. The bedroom is incredibly cozy and inviting, with a very comfortable bed. You can choose between soft ambient lighting or brighter lights. The windows are soundproof, which is great since the room overlooks the street, but no noise can be heard inside. The room itself is also very spacious. We stayed on the third floor, and the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage up upon arrival and down upon departure. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious hot drink and a small welcoming ceremony, which made our stay feel even more special. One morning, they generously offered us a free tour of the more local, less touristy temples, and we absolutely loved experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the area. The best part? The service was absolutely outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, served at the restaurant of the hotel across the street, The Nanee. The service and quality were excellent. We also had dinner there one evening, and everything was exquisite. Thank you!

The experience I had at the hotel was very good. A combination of a boutique hotel designed with every detail in mind. Attentive and gentle staff for all my needs. Caused me to make it my home hotel and for all my friends who will come to Kathmandu. The room is cozy and clean. A comfortable mattress and a pampering shower. Perfect location in a quiet and modern area and within walking distance to the stupa. There are also pre-ordered meals. A good and indulgent breakfast. .

1 The knowledgable and good mannered staffs! All of them. They are so amazing that I wonder what kind of on-job training they are taking! I enjoy a lot especially the quietness in low season. 2 The big idea about eco friendly. I have no problem at all about the dimmy interior design as well as the drinking water (no plastic botttle) because I am conscious it’s for the environment. 3 the classy and old school architecture. So surprised to know it’s only 24 years building. 4 the pancake and fresh juice in the buffet breakfast

Comfortable location, comfortable bed, good sized and well designed rooms, I had one with the balcony and a lovely rooftop restaurant and Bar. But what I liked mostly were the staff, starting from the hotel owner Ram the receptionist Apsara the guards and the great people who works at the rooftop. Feels like a family hotel with the luxury of the west.

It is a hidden gem when it comes to budget friendly accommodations in Nepal. What sets it apart is the inclusion of a lift service, a rarity in the price range. The rooms are clean, cozy, and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is enjoyable. If you are looking for affordable accommodation without sacrificing convenience, I highly recommend Capital Boutique Hotel.
