Valitsimme hotellin summamutikassa edellisenä päivänä eikä päätöstä tarvinnut katua. Hotelli oli kaunis ja sijaitsi yli 300 vuotta vanhassa talossa. Taloa oli kunnostettu vanhaa kunnioittaen, mutta iän annettiin näkyä. Saimme ystäväni kanssa toiseksi ylimmässä kerroksessa sijaitsevan huoneen, joka antoi sisäpihalle. Vaikka sijainti oli aivan Durbar squaren vieressä, huoneeseemme ei kuulunut kaduilta yhtään melua. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja pystyimme luottamaan siihen, että asiat hoituivat. Meille oli tilattu mm. lentokentälle vievä taksi, joka oli ajallaan paikalla. Huone oli siisti. Lähistöllä oli paljon pieniä kauppoja ja joitain ravintoloita.
