The lovely Tibetan-style hotel is a hidden haven of calm in the bustling Boudha neighborhood. The rooms are spacious—slightly dated, but very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious local and Western dishes, and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking.

The space and size of the suite are incredibly large and spacious. It features a generous living area with a balcony, which we didn’t use due to the air pollution outside. However, the living room was extremely comfortable, perfect for watching TV, exercising, doing yoga, relaxing, or even taking a nap.
The kitchen is spacious but has only the basics, suitable for preparing tea, coffee, or simple meals. We requested a French press at the reception to make coffee, and they provided it immediately.
The bathroom is large, but there is no curtain or partition to prevent water from spreading across the floor when showering. However, there is hot water. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but upon request, the reception brought one right away.
The bedroom is incredibly cozy and inviting, with a very comfortable bed. You can choose between soft ambient lighting or brighter lights. The windows are soundproof, which is great since the room overlooks the street, but no noise can be heard inside. The room itself is also very spacious.
We stayed on the third floor, and the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage up upon arrival and down upon departure.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious hot drink and a small welcoming ceremony, which made our stay feel even more special.
One morning, they generously offered us a free tour of the more local, less touristy temples, and we absolutely loved experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the area.
The best part? The service was absolutely outstanding.
Breakfast was delicious, served at the restaurant of the hotel across the street, The Nanee. The service and quality were excellent. We also had dinner there one evening, and everything was exquisite.
Thank you!

A beautiful building. Really beautiful. It has a style and a soul. If you like traditional Nepalese buildings, and everybody does, you will love this one.
Outstanding staff. High personal culture, great attire, naturally smiling, always very helpful.
Excellent food that warrants a separate paragraph. Fresh and tasty. Served in a relaxing, quiet restaurant. It was so good that we never went for any street food even though street food was one of the things "we had to do".
Perfect location. A short walk to Durbar Square with the Asan Bazar halfway through. You have all the Kathmandu noise and beauty just around the corner, and it's so quiet inside (our room window faced the inner courtyard).
Some people may not like the smell of old wooden wardrobes in the rooms. I've found it charming.

Great location, gorgeous hotel, great staff, breakfast with coffee/ tea lovely.
Minor point/ Could provide some bottled water on arrival in the room, and each morning of the stay.
Would return in future.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
I loved the authenticity of the structure and setting. It deserves the historical designation that it has received. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating to our needs. Newa Chen seved us as a place to rest and recuperate from our trip to Mustang.
The hotel is a beautiful place to stay, its traditional Newari architecture and interior design coupled with the friendly and helpful staff make it my favourite hotel in Kathmandu. Its location is also ideal for anyone wanting to escape the noise of Thamel and to get access to the culture and tradition of Patan.
a traditional house, beautifully located a step away from Durbar Square and next door from the Golden Temple. Family business. Great breakfast. Nice bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Traditional design. Courteous attitude of the staff.
The owner, Pradeep, was lovely! Very welcoming, chatty & couldn't do enough. Location is great. The room - I was offered a choice upon arrival and both were stunning, so quirky the whole place I loved it - I'm currently travelling and this was my favourite accommodation yet! Super clean property with a tasty breakfast on the rooftop in the morning. Thanks for a really enjoyable stay :)
Location great, loved that it was down an alleyway. Was nice and quiet, while still being able to hear the day to day life of Patan. A stones throw away from all the must see spots of Patan and a short taxi to Kathmandu central. Food - exceptional. Gorgeous room and staff - amazing.
Loved my stay at the Inn Patan. Great Boutique hotel.
1. Location - close to Patan Darbar Square, but located inside a little neighbourhood off the main road.
2. Rooms - designed in traditional Newari Style.
3. Breakfast.
4. The lovely little front courtyard and the little garden area for breakfast.
5. Staff - very helpful.
The staff and the manager are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the care of the boy called Rana. The hotel itself, the design, the garden are very nice and stylish. It was warm in the room (it's winter time) thanks to the heating.
Amazing staff that creates a welcoming and veeery friendly atmosphere with organizing some activities, playing board games or just talking :)
Clean room and bathroom, lovely design and very comfortable mattress!
The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet with lots of nice cafes and shops.
