Scenic Hotel Te Pania enjoys a waterfront location on Marine Parade, overlooking Hawkes Bay.

It was good value for money. Quite a cheap stay for us for 2 nights. Bed was comfortable but bedding was a bit old and worn out. Very basic room with not much to it. Bath wasn't super clean, had to clean it a bit myself. Staff were really nice and location was awesome which we felt was worth it in the end.

This is an old house on the seafront which has been turned into a boutique B&B with a lot of character. Our room was tastefully if somewhat eccentrically decorated with many attractive and stylish details. There is a breakfast room with a splendid seaview. The hotel advertises affordable luxury and that is a good description.
