New ZealandGreat location directly on the beach. Great for a swim, especially at high tide. Well equipped accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast supplies. Handy laundry if you're running out of clean smalls!

We paid a little more for the Luxury Room - very spacious, probably half again the size of the Deluxe. Only 10 rooms, room 10 being the only Luxury room. Ask for a higher room number to be a little more private and away from the (not busy) road. The on-site restaurant was amazing, best duck I’ve ever had, and a perfect breakfast selection. The staff though are the biggest asset of this lodge, so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. It was very hard to leave.Guest review byCathyGroup

The apartment is wonderfully comfortable. It is spacious and very cosy; it was winter when we stayed but we didn't need to keep the heater on very long. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely too. Wifi was strong.
