United StatesThe property was beautifully landscaped and rooms quite spacious / comfortable. The restaurant menu was exceptional with a hearty breakfast and delicious fine dining at night. The outdoor patio was perfect for the pre-dinner cocktail. Staff and Nick / manager were accommodating and helpful.

We paid a little more for the Luxury Room - very spacious, probably half again the size of the Deluxe. Only 10 rooms, room 10 being the only Luxury room. Ask for a higher room number to be a little more private and away from the (not busy) road. The on-site restaurant was amazing, best duck I’ve ever had, and a perfect breakfast selection. The staff though are the biggest asset of this lodge, so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. It was very hard to leave.Guest review byCathyGroup

The apartment is wonderfully comfortable. It is spacious and very cosy; it was winter when we stayed but we didn't need to keep the heater on very long. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely too. Wifi was strong.
