Situated in Whangarei and with Northland Event Centre reachable within 13 km, Lupton Lodge features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and barbecue...

Lupton Lodge is a short drive to Whangarei and all the shops and restaurants there, but is located in a quiet area. The grounds are large and give it a private feel. Our room was spacious. Head over to Lupton Lodge's website for tons of info to help you plan your stay. I found this very useful and the owner, Andy, is incredibly helpful and communication was great. Helped set up a diving trip. You can also have dinner at the Lodge (to be arranged beforehand) which we very much enjoyed.

Seemed pretty easy once I figured out the instructions for the Lock Box. LOVED the design on the crockery provided.

Location was the main reason we were first attracted to this property. Right in the middle of all the action. City centre convenience with middle of the bush feel. We took advantage of the lovely walkways in the area, spent time in the town basin, spent the day at the Hunderwasser building. Quirky decor and design. We appreciated a txt from Becks mid-visit checking if we needed anything. We didn’t.

We lived the location. So much to see around the area. Mary was an amazingly warm and welcoming host and the property and setting was stunning. We felt as if we were staying in a 5 star luxurious hotel suite. On our departure, Mary gifted to us some beautiful fresh produce from her farm. Breakfast was so good. Thankyou Mary, we will recommend your stay to anyone we know heading in your direction.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, who offered us invaluable recommendations for exploring Whangarei, Northland and New Zealand. The rooms were tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Nestled beside a serene creek, the accommodation was meticulously maintained and surrounded by a charmingly designed garden. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend everything about this exceptional place!

The interior design of the room was amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Beautiful location right next to the lake meaning that I had access to plenty of wonderful cafes/restaurants.

Lovely helpful homestay host, great location across from the beach. The local Salt Air Cafe is perfect for breakfast and lunch. The surrounding area and little bays are stunning. Clean, stylish comfy rooms with own kitchen and bathroom. We managed to have a swim and a kayak just across the road. Wished we had the time to have stayed longer.

The rooms were adorable and super comfy. The back yard with an incredible forest view is so stunning and refreshing. Really recommend this place, I would go back again. 10/10!
